I had coincidentally signed up for FaceBook recently - am still trying to figure it out besides the 'gee, I better join this thing - I keep hearing about it on the news."
LinkedIn amazes me. Someone should write a book on how some of the users gets hundreds if not thousands of links - is there some spiral spam aspect to this I don't know about - I know I accidentally clicked on an invite from a guy from IBM, who it turns out I do not know - he has literally 20k+ links.
But yes, I like to know where my contacts are, so that is why I use it primarily.
