I've been to DEMO once before, and would have gone, and I got invited to TechCrunch50 also - but have both the WIRE/ICES conference and a JFCOM meeting this week so couldn't do it... since then laughing at the inane and juvenile "controversies." These guys need to get over themselves. Most significant is to remember that the ACTUAL hit startups of the future are likely too busy to attend anyway, based on past experience. Great post, Bob.
