Now that you mention it, there are probably dozens of really big intelligence community activities that would be good case studies. I've just gotten wind of another large intelligence community activity in the offing. So it is very good to know the DNI team has been thinking through these lessons. I agree on your "over study" trap; it drives me nuts when simple things seem to require a six month concept study. What happened to fail fast, fail cheap?
