After purchasing the Nexus 7, I immediately looked for a solid case for the device. Because I pre-ordered the Nexus, quality cases were not yet available. I picked up a Kindle Fire case at a local store just to tide me over. However, I found the YooMee case on Amazon and instantly ordered one. Just a few weeks later, it’s here, and it’s a great case for the Nexus 7 (probably the best case I’ve seen).
The YooMee case is a formed leather case that allows you to snap in your N7. It has perfect cut outs for all of the ports. It has a creased back that allows for two angles of landscape viewing, as well a handstrap if you’re interested in that sort of thing. The flipcover of the case tightly secures itself to the front, protecting your tablet. I have an ArmorSuit screen protector on my N7 and the stitching from the handstrap will leave little indentations. As well, there is a stylus loop which obscures the volume key a bit. A killer function is the tiny magnet in the cover which turns on and off the screen, so when you shut it, it automatically locks.
As a gadget junkie, I’m constantly buying new technologies. With every new purchase, I’m also dropping around $50 on accessories. From cases, to screen protectors, to batteries if they are removable, I am always buying accessories for my latest toy. The N7 case is only $10.99 at Amazon with free shipping. While this case is not a smart-cover, but it is a great case for the Nexus 7.
If you’ve got a N7, let me know what case you’ve got, or if you enjoy this one.
