NVIDIA’s new AI driven chips are coming in 4th quarter of 2018. This was announced by CEO Jensen Huang who unveiled the new Turing GPU architecture. The Turing GPU architecture includes AI-based capabilities and real-time ray tracing. NVIDIA’s Turing GPU architecture will offer faster and more efficient hardware ray tracing acceleration. Getty Images Is Using Artificial Intelligence to Help Newsrooms Choose Better Photos
Newsrooms around the world can now breath easy. Finding a perfect image for the story is a big issue that most journalists face. Getty Images, the world’s leading provider of images, has unveiled Panels, an AI tool that uses natural language processing to analyze stories and suggest photos. Is AI the way forward for business – Yes say 90 percent of executives responding to a study by The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) and sponsored by Microsoft. It seems artificial intelligence (AI) is the way to go for businesses and corporates as 90 percent of executives feel AI will have a positive impact on their company’s growth. 86 percent of them believe it will help improve productivity, and 69 percent sees in it the potential for job creation in their respective countries and industries.
