If you are a veteran eligible for the G.I Bill this may well be of personal interest (if you are not a veteran please share this with one).
The Cloud Security Alliance has just announced that they received final approval from the VA that allows the G.I. Bill to cover the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) exam.
Here is more about the Cloud Security Alliance:
The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) promotes the use of best practices for providing security assurance within Cloud Computing. It is a non-profit supported by thousands of volunteers who share a common goal of continually improving the security and functionality of cloud capabilities. The CSA focuses on capturing these best practices and providing them back to the community in useful ways.
The CSA has developed concept papers, research reports, collections of best practices and training courses. It supports elearning and also maintains a registry of cloud providers that are CSA verified.
Fundamental to all of the CSA efforts is their widely adopted catalogue of security best practices, the Security Guidance for Critical Areas of Focus in Cloud Computing.
The CSA also offers a Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) which provides evidence that an individual has successfully completed an examination covering key concepts of the CSA body of knowledge. And offers training to achieve mastery of this material.
