We love reading the tech news, and this report on the use of AI by IMB is certainly news. But based on IBM’s track record we are not sure what to do with this particular topic right now other than to track it from afar. If everyone else starts using this then consider it yourself. But let others be first for sure.
AI has long been recognized as an effective wall against cyber attacks but its application has remained limited. Now IBM has debuted IBM Security Connect, a totally AI-powered platform to improve cyber incident response and abilities to help its customers fight cyber attacks and evolve a good incident response plan. IBM says it already has signed over a dozen vendors and partners for IBM Security Connect. IBM Security Connect makes use of both cloud technology and AI. Users of the platform will be able to apply machine learning and AI, including Watson for Cyber Security, to cybersecurity products to increase their effectiveness.
