I am so excited to now have an autographed copy of The Security Yearbook by Richard Stiennon.
Richard is a prolific writer, a fantastic speaker, and is known the world over as perhaps the most savvy of all analysts in the cybersecurity field. Many of us have learned from him over the years, but his current book is providing insights that are especially useful to practitioners.
I can give my personal endorsement of this book to anyone in the cybersecurity business. It provides the history of this market in an easy to read and compelling way that can help us all better understand why things are the way they are. While doing so it highlights some of the true icons of our industry, the movers and shakers who have faced incredible challenges and rose above them to create lasting value in the cybersecurity world.
The book also provides a very solid market segmentation that is based on vendors serving the market. This approach can help inform the strategies of vendors seeking to succeed in the market as well as the firms investing in companies in this sector.
I’m so glad Richard took on the task of producing this.
